Danzig Impresses in Battle of TUF Winners

Mac Danzig looked great in his UFC 145 appearance against former TUF winner Efrain Escudero and cruised to a dominant unanimous decision with superior striking and clinch work. Despite fighting with a severly swollen ankle from an Escudero heel attack Mac continued to use movement and technique to pick him apart. It was a great win for Mac! Stay tuned to see who comes next!

Danzig Drops Close Decision at UFC Live

It was a fight so closely matched that it was difficult to pick a clear winner. The crowd at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC thought that Mac Danzig had done enough to win a judge's decision against rival welterweight Matt Wiman however the judges thought otherwise and awarded Wiman a unanimous decision victory. A very tough loss for Mac but rest assured that he knows how to bounce back from adversity. Danzig will be back!

Danzig Out for Revenge Against Wiman

Mac Danzig Scheduled To Fight Donald Cerrone at UFC 131

Denaro fighter Mac Danzig has secured a grudge match against fellow lightweight Donald Cerrone at UFC 131, which will take place on July 11th in Vancouver, B.C.
Danzig, whose most recent win came via knockout over Joe "Daddy" Stevenson at UFC 124, made his feelings of Cerrone clear in a January statement on Twitter: "So all you have to do to secure a fight you haven't earned is wear a silly hate, call yourself 'Cowboy' and talk trash?"
Cerrone has won his last three fights, which include victories over Paul Kelly and Chris Horodecki.

Perfect Left Hook and Danzig Wins!

It was possibly a do or die fight for veteran Mac Danzig as he faced fellow TUF alum Joe Stevenson at UFC 124 in Canada last Saturday. Danzig responded to the pressure with pure professionalism and determination landing a short, crisp left hook on the incoming Stevenson's chin that put Joe out face first on the canvas. A great victory for Mac who now goes back to training and prepares for whatever the UFC match makers decide.
